Headlining Act Announced for the 2017 Bloomin’ Temple Festival

Temple Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce that Country Music star, Mark Chesnutt, will take the Mac Haik Main Stage to perform as Saturday’s headlining musical act at this year’s Bloomin’ Temple Festival presented by H-E-B.

A native of Texas, Chesnutt has accumulated 14 number 1 hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums and five gold records throughout his career thus far. His hit songs include Brother Jukebox, Going Through the Big D, Bubba Shot the Jukebox, I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing and Too Cold At Home.

In 1989, Chesnutt was signed to MCA Nashville and with the release of his first single Too Cold At Home, Mark established himself as one of country music’s most authentic and talented vocalists. Known as one of the industry’s hardest-working concert performers by maintaining a hefty tour schedule and steady presence in front of his fans, Mark’s dedication to deliver live music is unsurpassed. Married since 1992, Mark and his wife Tracie are the loving parents of three boys.

The 2017 Bloomin’ Temple Festival presented by H-E-B will be held near E. Central Avenue and S. 4th Street in downtown Temple on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th. The festival will feature all day entertainment, two musical stages, over 20 bands featuring acts in Hip Hop, Tejano, Red Dirt, and Country Music, a Kid’s Zone, carnival, vendors, food trucks & more!
