This ancient Chinese exercise promotes vitality, balance, strength and longevity. Using special breathing techniques and slow, precise physical movements, Tai Chi can help curtail arthritis, respiratory disease and high blood pressure. This on-going course is adaptable for all levels of mobility. The sessions conclude with a meditative cool down. Led by Scott Worsham who has been practicing this exercise form for over 25 years.

Get Fit, Stay Fit! Join our energized instructor in this low-impact, core-strengthening program designed to improve balance, flexibility, coordination and range of motion. This long running fitness program uses light hand weights and elastic bands to strengthen the body and focus on functional fitness. Stretching exercises complete this well-rounded workout; adaptable for all levels of mobility.

This ever-popular class is designed to allow students of all levels to paint and draw or just improve their skills. Individual instructions are based upon skill levels. Become a Lifeguard! Gain the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, respond to, and care for aquatic and land emergencies until EMS can take over. This is a blended learning course, so register early to complete the online coursework before classes begin. Expect the online course to take 8-10 hours. Cost includes a manual, pocket masks, and hands-on training/certification. You must register at Sammons Indoor Pool at least two weeks before class begins.

Looking for something fun to do for Spring Break? Come enjoy the carefree days of the Spring season at Camp Adventure! There will be many great, creative activities planned for the camp. Campers will experience archery, rock wall climbing, and many other cool activities. Bring a friend or make or make new ones. Pack a sack lunch and we will pack the fun! Camp is limited to 25-5/6 year olds and 90-7 & up.
