Just keep movin'! Join "KP" as she leads this extremely popular exercise session designed especially for those with mobility issues or who have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. Gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

De-stress, calm the mind and feel better! Meditation is taught in many forms and the ultimate result is to experience inner peace through a consistent meditation practice. In this beginner class we will practice breathing exercises, chanting positive affirmations (mantras), subtle body movements and sitting in silence. This class is designed to relax the nervous system, create mind power and settle an over-active mind so that the body, mind and soul will function healthier and happier. Unlike most Martial Arts, training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together assisting each other in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition or previous martial art experience. Class format is monthly sessions and classes meet weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays).

Meditating at the time of a full moon allows one to look within, get centered and focus on inner calming. Combined with yoga, these classes involve breath movement, easy and modified postures, along with gentle stretching and relaxation techniques. Whether you experience physical or emotional challenges and prefer a slower, gentler practice, you will find this experience beneficial. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, blanket, singing bowls, hand drums or anything that brings you solace, along with bottled water. Led by certified yoga instructor Basantdeep Singh.
