Planning & Development

The Planning & Development Department provides professional planning services on urban growth and development issues to promote quality of place. The Department maintains an updated Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Code to provide policy recommendations and regulations related to land development. The staff works cooperatively with design professionals, property owners and developers from the concept stage to completion of the project. Planning & Development consists of 3 teams: Building Permits & Inspections, Community Vitality and Planning & Zoning.
